... The Assistant Vice President of Finance:. As the Assistant Vice President of Finance, you are a member of the Executive Board and are a part of a team working to accomplish a sub-goal (promoting and maintaining the Financial well-being of our organization) within La Raza. As The Assistant VP of Finance, you are responsible for bringing fund-raising ideas to the board, you should attend all Executive Meetings, and you should work closely with the Vice President of Finance in order to help him/her with his/her organizational responsibilities. It is important for you, the Executive Officer and the other assistants to work closely as a team. In the event that the VP of Finance is unavailable to attend an event or a meeting, the President and Executive Vice President will have you make decisions on his/her behalf.
