activists. We built it, but you must provide the site's content. You can
use it to start a campaign, share activism resources, publicize events, and
build networks. Or you can join an existing campaign, get resources, learn
about upcoming activist events, and let people find you.

Minority Programs
Increasing the Minority Presence in Political Science
The American Political Science Association has established several major
programs to help identify and aid minorities in the political science
discipline. These programs include the:
Minority Fellows Program,
which is a fellowship competition designed to increase the number of
minority Ph.D.'s in political science and to encourage institutions to
provide financial assistance to them.
Ralph Bunche Summer
Institute, which is an annual five-week program designed to
introduce minority students to the world of graduate study and to encourage
application to Ph.D programs.
Minority
Identification Project, which is a collaboration of undergraduate
programs and graduate schools in political science created to identify
talented minority undergraduate students interested in graduate study and,
ultimately, to help further diversify the political science profession.
APSA Mentoring
Initiatives: APSA has also developed a mentoring program to connect
interested graduate students and faculty to those in the field who are
available for mentoring on professional matters.
Minority Scholar
Resources: APSA has also compiled a set of minority scholar
resources that contains links to services, information, and funding
assistance for minority students:
