The Role of the Alumni Affairs Officer:
The Alumni Affairs Officer (AAO) is the primary Liaison between
La Raza and its Alumni network. The role of the Alumni Affairs Officer
is essential because the CALR relies so heavily on its network of Alumni
and Community Allies. The AAO is responsible for:

Attending La Raza Alumni Association Meetings:
The La Raza Alumni Association
meets every 3 months in Newark, DE. The Alumni Affairs Officer is
expected to accompany the President of La Raza to quarterly LRAA meetings.

Implementing LRAA Motions: The
AAO is responsible for working with the President to ensure that any and
all LRAA motions are implemented/executed on campus in a timely manner.

Building & Maintaining the La Raza Alumni
Database: The AAO should ensure that every La Raza member who
graduates submits an Alumni Contact Form. The forms can be downloaded
here
and should be emailed to recruitment@larazacenter.org.
